Sansiri announces 2014 Master Business Plan, targeting 34 billion baht in revenue

Sansiri PCL. or ‘SIRI’ disclosed that, “The year 2013 proved to be yet another great year for Sansiri as we managed to surpass many of our set goals, as far as business operating results are concerned. We had anticipated to launch 45 new projects last year, but we finished the year having launched a total of 48 new projects instead, covering virtually all segments of residential properties both in Bangkok and upcountry provinces. The segments comprised condominiums, single homes, townhomes, home offices, as well as, shop-houses, all with a combined value of more than 61.2 billion baht. We generated total sales worth 42.2 billion baht, thanks largely to our continued efforts in strengthening the ‘Sansiri’ brand, as well as, other brands associated with Sansiri. This resulted in the trustworthiness that our customers have come to expect of each and every quality Sansiri development. In addition, the clear and strong business strategy laid out in our ‘6 Key Strategies of Business Success’ greatly contributed to last year’s immense success.”

To date, the company has managed over 151 property projects amounting to a combined area of more than 6.1 million square metres. Looking forward to 2014, Sansiri intends to continue to be aggressive with its new project developments to respond to the increasing residential needs of both Thai and foreign customers in all segments, both in Bangkok and upcountry provinces. The company plans to launch 19 new projects this year, valued at 33,263 million baht in total. The proportion of these new projects will be 89% for Bangkok and Greater Bangkok, plus another 11% for upcountry projects. There will be 9 new condominium projects, 8 new single-home projects and 2 townhouse projects. For 2014, the company targets 34,000 million baht in revenue and 30,000 million baht in sales.

“This year, we will focus on stabilizing and building on our great leap forward in terms of achieving increased market shares in various segments over the past 3-4 years,in order to ensure sustainable business growth in the long term.”, added Sansiri. 

The company also remains committed to its ‘6 Key Strategies of Business Success’, which has proven to be highly successful. The ‘6 Key Strategies’ for 2014 are:

1.    To maintain sales volumes of upcountry projects. More new single-home projects will be launched in upcountry areas where Sansiri already has established presence such as Phuket, Chiang Mai, Khao Yai, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima and Surat Thani. These will be in addition to the existing projects which have received excellent response such as Burasiri ‘Koh Kaew’ Phuket and Setthasiri ‘San Sai’ Chiang Mai. Moreover, efforts will be made to study market opportunities to launch new projects in 9 upcountry locations where Sansiri has not yet ventured with any project before, including Phitsanulok, Nakhon Sawan, Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Ubon Ratchathani, Koh Samui, Nong Khai, Surin, Kanchanaburi and Sri Racha.

2.    To control construction time more efficiently. Only those condominium developments which have been Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approved will be built and made available for sales.

3.    To create new lines of lifestyle businesses aimed at stimulating sales and enhancing the Sansiri Family experience.
‘Neighbourhood Mall Sukhumvit 77’ and ‘ESCAPE – Sansiri Hotel Collection’ have already been launched.
•    ‘ESCAPE Hua Hin’ was launched in November 2013.
•    ‘ESCAPE Khao Yai’ will be launched in February 2014.
 
4.    To effectively handle the expected labour shortage. This can be achieved by the company’s emphasis on pre-cast construction technology and other advanced innovations – moves that will significantly lessen dependence on human labour.

5.    To create design innovations and break new ground in modern living. Revolutionary ideas will be carefully crafted and shaped into practical reality to offer ground-breaking designs that will give Sansiri properties a distinctive look. Such designs include the ‘L-Shape’ design for single houses and new-concept condominiums under the brand ‘HAUS’.

6.    To ensure that Plus Property Co., Ltd. offers even more efficient property management services to customers. This will play an important role in enhancing customer brand loyalty and generating substantial and sustainable revenue for Sansiri. In addition, the ‘Rental for the Holidays’ service of Plus Property is to be promoted more effectively to attract foreign customers.
