Sansiri Public Company Limited closed the first quarter of 2017 with 7,000-million-baht sales, the highest figure in three years – well above the set target. At the same time, foreign sales totalled 1,200 million baht as derived from “THE LINE Phahol-Pradipat” roadshows in four countries, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and China, while impressive sales were recorded at “98 Wireless” flagship condominium – the best on Wireless Road – in March. Where horizontal developments are concerned, “Garden Square Sukhumvit 77”, a townhouse project at the middle of Sukhumvit 77 Road with an average price of 15 million baht, have realised 70 percent sales and “Siri Avenue Saimai”, a 100-million-baht project, closed sales within two hours on launch day. The performance indicated that the economy is in revival while the trend of the real estate market also showed a positive sign. The second quarter of 2017 will see the launch of four new projects worth a total of 12,600 million baht, divided into two condominium projects under the joint venture with BTS Group and two detached house projects. The sales target for the second quarter is set at 10,000 million baht – a 40-percent growth.

Sansiri Public Company Limited (SIRI), revealed that the Company in the first-quarter of 2017 achieved sales of 7,000 million baht, which is well above target and the highest quarterly performance in three years. The target was achieved without any support activities such as the “Sansiri Life Come Home” event that has been well received in the past. The significant contributor has been the foreign market that was achieved from the introduction of 5,800-million-baht “THE LINE Phahol-Pradipat” condominium project, which is a joint venture between Sansiri and the BTS Group with a total of 981 units. The full-scale global launch of this project took place in four countries – Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and China – and attracted large groups of interested investors and buyers in all four territories resulting in the total sales in foreign markets of 1,200 million baht.

Furthermore, the Company was highly successful with the grand opening in March of “98 Wireless” flagship condominium – the best on Wireless Road – with an impressive sale results. Horizontal developments of the Company have also been well received within the first quarter with the finalized sales of the 100-million-baht “Siri Avenue Saimai”, which is a commercial development designed in the modern New York loft style located in the centre of Saimai area. The project amazingly managed to close sales within two hours on launch day. Also successful was “Garden Square Sukhumvit 77”, a townhouse project at the middle of Sukhumvit 77 Road with an average price of 15 million baht, that have realised 70 percent sales to-date.

“The overall picture of the economy in the second quarter of 2017 is expected to be well supported by the government’s stimulus measures to revive the economy, such as the revival of domestic spending and the continued growth of the tourism industry that were the direct result of the measures to stimulate the investment in basic infrastructure now taking shape realistically. In the real estate industry, major players in the private sector should play a role in helping to drive the industry forward by developing new projects to help revitalise the industry.

“Where Sansiri is concerned, the Company has set the target in our business plan for the second quarter to launch four new projects worth a total of 12,600 million baht. This is divided into two condominium projects under the Sansiri and BTS Group joint venture, and two detached house projects – “Burasiri Wacharaphon” and “Kanasiri Pinklao-Kanchana”. We have set a lofty sales target for the second quarter at 10,000 million baht, or a 40-percent growth over the first quarter’s 7,000 million baht,” Sansiri  said.
