Sansiri announced the launch of Smart Move, Thailand’s first residential ride-sharing service platform introduced at Sansiri’s residential projects, jointly developed with 6 leading local and international vehicle manufacturer and service providers. The 6 partners comprise Honda, leading motorcycle manufacturer who provides newly launched electric motorcycles for use as part of the service; Uber, the world’s leading ride-sharing service provider that offers free first time service resident of Sansiri’s new property; ofo, the world's first and largest station-free bike sharing platform and mobile app from China, first introduced in Thailand at Sansiri’s 11 residential projects; Haupcar, the first car-sharing platform in Thailand that provides BMW i3 electric cars for the service; SHARGE, a provider of electric vehicle charging point; and EA Anywhere, a provider of electric charging stations for PHEV (Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) and BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle). Encompassing all transportation modes as well as electric charging service, Smart Move is the first-of-its-kind, a one-stop service platform that perfectly fits modern living of Sansiri’s residents.   

Sansiri Public Company Limited, said that “Smart Move is Sansiri’s comprehensive residential car-sharing service platform introduced for the first time in residentials project in Thailand, developed as part of Sansiri’s commitment to the concept “Complete Your Living Experience” as well as our move toward the ongoing sharing economy that is transforming the way people live and access resources. The service will be integrated into Sansiri Home Service application, a property management mobile application for Sansiri residents, and will be available in full service in 2018 for residents in Sansiri’s condominium, single house and townhouse projects.

Smart Move is first introduced for residents of THE LINE Jatujak – Mochit, with two units of BMWi3, the first fully electric vehicle from BMW, available for car-sharing service. 
 
To make Smart Move a comprehensive service for modern living, Sansiri joined forces with 6 car-sharing service providers and relevant businesses, as follows:
 
A.P. Honda Co., Ltd., authorized dealer of Honda motorcycle in Thailand, planned to launch electric motorcycles in Thailand in 2018. “Smart Move is a prototype concept that reflects the future of living that goes in line with Honda’s business strategy. According to Honda Vision 2030, we strive to serve people worldwide with the joy of expanding their life’s potential, lead the advancement of mobility and enable people everywhere in the world to improve their daily lives. We plan to launch electric motorcycles, which will be a part of Smart Move, marking our first collaboration with the leading real estate developer to bring the mobility experience to the new generation of consumers in the age of a sharing economy.”

Uber is the world’s leading ride-sharing service provider.“we are delighted to join a partnership with Sansiri in introducing ride-sharing as an alternative for Thai people’s daily commute. Uber’s mission is to utilize technology to get more passengers into fewer cars as part of solving traffic congestion and parking shortages in Bangkok. We also bring convenience and reliable rides to Sansiri’s residents together with special discount promotions.”
 
According to ofo, the world's first and largest station-free bike share platform and mobile app from China, “Being a part of the Smart Move platform as a bike sharing service provider for Sansiri residents is the first smart residential bike share service introduced in Thailand, following our previous service launch in government organizations and universities. Our service is first launched at Habito Community Malll at T77 and 8 single house projects in Bangkok e.g., Habitia Shine, Setthasiri Charan – Pinklao, Burasiri Panya-Indra, Habitia Orbit Hathairat, Saransiri Tiwanon-Chaengwattana, Habitia Bond Ratchapruek, Kanasiri Salaya and Habitia Motif, and 2 single house projects in Phuket e.g., Burasiri Koh Kaew and Saransiri Kah Kaew. Our service is ideal for both spending quality time with your family and riding to the main entrance of the village to take mass transit. We also plan to expand our service to all Sansiri’s future projects.”
 

 
Haupcar is the first car-sharing platform in Thailand. “To be part of Smart Move opens up opportunity for us to debut our service in residential projects and marks a brand new concept of living. Our car-sharing service at Sansiri projects provide BMW i3 electric vehicles, in which users can unlock the door using their mobile app anytime 24 hours a day. In the future, we plan to expand car-sharing services to all Sansiri condominium projects along mass transit lines, as we foresee fast-growing demand for the service.”     
 
SHARGE is a provider of electric vehicle charging point. “We are proud to partner with Sansiri in the Smart Move platform as a key service operator. We believe that the service will meet both consumer’s lifestyle needs as well as their environmental conservation engagement, which tends to increase 50% annually. We are also a long-term partner of Sansiri in providing EV charging points in residential projects, which was already introduced in 3 projects, with plan to expand to over 10 projects in 2018.” 
 
EA Anywhere, a subsidiary of Energy Absolute Public Company Limited, is a provider of electric charging stations for PHEV (Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) and BEV (Battery Electric Vehicle). “Our partnership with the Smart Move platform is a major move in building an electric vehicle ecosystem in Thailand. Our customers can easily locate our charging stations on their smartphone using the EA Anywhere app in the Smart Move platform. We plan to install two DC Super Chargers, the fastest electric vehicle charger that charges electric vehicles as quickly as 7 minutes, to be first introduced in Thailand at Sansiri projects, together with one AC charger, making a total of three chargers. We also offer special promotion for Sansiri residents – free first-time charging at EA Anywhere, and special discount for future use. The service is initially offered at Habito Community Mall at T77 (Sukhumvit 77) and Escape Hua Hin and Escape Khao Yai.”
 

 
Sansiri will continue to bring additional alternatives for daily commute that meet different lifestyle needs of Sansiri residents on the Smart Move platform. Expansion of the Smart Move service is planned for other Sansiri projects including THE LINE Ratchathewi, The Base Garden Rama 9, THE LINE Asoke-Ratchada, TAKA HAUS, Habito Community Mall at T77, along with new partnerships in the future to broaden the car-sharing service portfolio in order to embrace the upcoming car-free living trend.
