Marking a first time in the local Thai real estate industry, listed Thai real estate firm applies a mobile-based sales and marketing platform to support international sales. In a landmark agreement, Sansiri Public Company Limited joined hands with PropertyGuru Group, Asia’s leading online property portal and the owner of DDproperty.com No.1 property portal in Thailand, to launch the “ePropertyTrack for Sansiri” application to support easy and convenient project sales to foreign customers through a range of devices. The application supports all four operating systems: Android, iOS, Mac and OS, and in two languages – English and Chinese. This new development opens up a new experience in selling properties through one single application that international property agents can access from anywhere in the world, at any time. This is an effort to provide instant and borderless access to information for foreign and domestic based agents, who can then more effectively serve their clientele. Sansiri is debuting seven projects nationwide which offer good lifestyle and investment opportunities, which are located in Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket. The application is fully operational today as part of the initial launch stage.
Sansiri Public Company Limited, revealed that the Company succeeded in its business plan to tap the foreign market which has received a strong response in the past 2-3 years. The 2015 figure showed foreign sales totalling 3,500 million baht – 135 percent higher than 2014. The proportion of customer nationalities was varied, with Asians (from Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, China and Taiwan) making up 83 percent, while Europe (Russia, UK, France, Germany, Austria, Netherlands and Italy) made up 11 percent and 4 percent from America, Australia and others. Due to this past success, the Company decided to proactively and continuously woo the foreign market, especially marketing at the international level to sustain the brand, and to increase promotion of high-end projects to Thai and foreign customers as in past years.
The sales target among foreign customers this year is set at 5,000 million baht following last year’s result of 3,500 million baht.
“To achieve the target to increase the proportion of foreign customers, the Company has been on the lookout for new markets by approaching foreign property agents and customers directly and fulfilling their specific needs. After gathering information from agents and foreign customers, it was concluded that there have been an increasing amount of sales offers and searches for specific project information and locations in the Thai property market through smart phones and tablets. Furthermore, ePropertyTrack – a mobile-based sales and marketing platform that has been gaining in popularity among newly launched projects, agencies and agents in Asia in B2B business format, has also been gaining traction.
“Therefore, Sansiri has joined forces with the PropertyGuru Group, Asia’s leading online property portal and the owner of DDproperty.com No.1 property portal in Thailand, to utilize the “ePropertyTrack for Sansiri” application to support the sales of Sansiri’s real estate projects to customers abroad. This is the first time in the Thai real estate market that such an application has been created to facilitate the selling experience for foreign agents and customers. This new step in real estate sales will benefit both the Sansiri sales team and their agents domestically and abroad. This is an example of borderless sales of our projects that would improve the efficiency of our foreign sales and put the emphasis on the full-scale foreign market drive,” Sansiri said.
“ePropertyTrack for Sansiri” will be applied to offer sales of condominiums directly to foreign investors and expand Sansiri’s partnership base to other countries in Europe such as the United Kingdom and Russia, as well as Japan and the United States, among other countries. Sansiri already maintains a strong key network of 20 partner agents in the Asian region, namely, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines and the Chinese cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, along with Russia. This application can present information on projects such as project unit type and details, prices, promotions, number of reservations and sales, and other performance indicators. Agents benefit from use of the application with real-time access to information, 24 hours a day, from anywhere in the world.
Initially, the seven selected projects are THE BASE Park East Sukhumvit 77 and Nye By Sansiri in Bangkok, Baan Plai Haad in Pattaya and in Phuket -- Baan Mai Khao Phuket, THE DECK Patong, THE BASE Uptown - Phuket and THE BASE Height – Phuket. New project launches will be considered in 2016.

It can be accessed through a computer or smart phones and currently supports up to four operating systems: Android, iOS, Mac and OS with two languages – English and Chinese. In addition, the Company has a plan to develop the Thai version by the second quarter of this year.
